Description
Custom-made in steel, this tool can be vice-mounted and used to compress the springs of modern, cartridge damped fork legs, enabling disassembly. It is fully adjustable to safely hold upside-down forks up to 54 mm in diameter and up to one meter in length, fully extended. It also has adjustments to clear axles, calliper mounts, and front guard mount castings. This is a quality product designed and manufactured in New Zealand to last indefinitely, if used correctly.
This small fork spring compressor has all the features of our large workshop fork spring compressor, except that it is far more compact enabling it to be used to change springs without removing forks from the bike. In many instances, it can be utilised on sports bikes, or race bikes by fitting it between the fork and the fairing, with the vice mount removed. This saves a lot of time if you are just changing springs at the race track.
Shipping
Not at this stage. We only ship NZ wide.
All orders are sent as tracked deliveries and you will be provided your tracking number when your order is dispatched. Please allow 5 - 10 days for delivery and up to 15 working days for rural orders. We are reliant on courier schedules.
We've kept our Shipping Policy as simple as possible:
- Non-Rural: $10 North Island and $15 South Island
- Rural: $10 additional to North and South Island
Refund
We always aim for make sure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help.
Returns can be returned for store credit within 14 days provided the goods are unopened with no damage to the items or packaging. Freight costs will not be credited. Your proof of purchase will be required to complete the return.
