General Returns

In-Store and Online purchases from Cycletreads can be returned for store credit within 14 days provided the goods are unopened with no damage to the items or packaging. Freight costs will not be credited. Your proof of purchase will be required to complete the return.

Please contact Cycletreads if you wish to initiate a return within the 14 day period.

Please note that there are exceptions to this policy where hygiene issues prevent return. See list below.

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances unless they were received faulty or damaged:

  • Casual clothing
  • Rider apparel
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Helmets
  • In-Store special order items
  • Electrical components
  • DVDs


Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Item Returns

Please check your items carefully on receipt and in the event of a faulty or damaged product, or an incorrect item please contact Cycletreads immediately. Please note that proof of damage including photos will be required. In the event of a faulty or damaged product you will be entitled to a full refund or store credit on acceptance by Cycletreads of your return.

When you contact Cycletreads we will arrange return freight at our cost. Once received back to Cycletreads we will inspect your return and confirm acceptance or decline.

If accepted, you will be refunded to your original payment method within 7 days.


Lost in Transit

Cycletreads does not accept liability for any missing packages where Permission to Leave has been granted (i.e. no signature required on delivery).



Please allow 5 - 10 days for delivery and up to 15 working days for rural orders. We are reliant on courier schedules. This applies to both orders sent from Cycletreads to you, and orders returned to Cycletreads.


In-Store Special Orders

If you request Cycletreads to order in a product for you we require a 10% deposit to be paid at the time of order.

Cycletreads will notify you when the item arrives in store for your collection. It will then be held for 21 days, and if the order is not paid for in full within this time the item(s) will be sold, or returned to the supplier.

Your 10% deposit will be held as a store credit but will not be refunded.

Manufacturer Warranties

For items that have a manufacturer’s warranty, please refer to the brand directly.
