Definitely one of the most popular custom bike tyres in this country, if not the world, the Avon Cobra has been for many, the first tyre of choice. Despite it's genuine success, things move on, motorcycles become faster, riders demand more grip and comfort with agility and handling becoming vital, making the progress of tyres inevitable. The unique designed that has characterised the Cobra is visible in the new Cobra Chrome featuring the bespoke snake skin appearance and embossed cobra head logo. The improvement is not just in the visible part, but more in the enhanced compounds and new construction which deliver improved stopping distances in wet braking conditions.
Avon's latest tech pattern and advanced construction also produces over 5% larger tyre footprint compared to the Avon Cobra.
The Avon Cobra Chrome range will contain fitments for Harley Davidson V-Rod, Triumph Rocket III, Honda Goldwing and Valkyrie plus other sizes for various custom bike applications.
We've kept our Shipping Policy as simple as possible:
- Non-Rural: $10 North Island and $15 South Island
- Rural: $10 additional to North and South Island
All orders are sent as tracked deliveries and you will be provided your tracking number when your order is dispatched. Please allow 3 - 5 days for delivery and up to 7 working days for rural orders.

Pick Up is available in store
You can order your products online and pick them up from our store at 72 Barrys Road, Takapuna, Auckland.
Some items are stored at our warehouse, so we will notify you when your order is ready to collect.
